    My choices for Bond Girls.

Here are my choices for old and new Bond film actresses who I think should have been in the old or any new future Bond films as Bond Girls.

I really enjoyed the book Trigger Mortis , so here I have put my own idea for who I think should play the characters who if it was a genuine 1970-80s Roger Moore Bond film. I have already done one for Sean Connery but Moore is my absolute favourite Bond and I have some better choices for this cast.

As many women such as Gillian Anderson from the ‘X Files’ and a few more women that desire to replace James Bond entirely with a woman, is completely unfair to the 007 franchise itself and would kill it. The Bond franchise cannot die or be killed because as a Bond Producer stated in the 2012 007 Documentary, he would not want to be on the crew who made that last Bond movie about James Bond. James Bond is supposed to be a man and always in his own ever expanding franchise not a woman, and he was never supposed to be abruptly replaced by one. Ian Fleming the creator of James Bond would have never wanted that, but never said anything about a different skin colored man such as  Idris Elba, at least he’s still a man, be considered James Bond, a…

I'm having trouble for Logan Fairfax, the Kellers, Agent 279, Luther and Danny Slater though. I will ask for suggestions please. Hope you like this. I have included loads of 1960s tv and film actors and actresses.

I have just finished watching Quantum of Solace (film) for the second time (the first being when I saw it at the cinema way back in 2008 - has it really been that long?!) and the reason I (foolishly) kept avoiding it was beause, like practically everyone, I did not rate it highly. It was essentially a combination of my own opinion at the time I first saw it and everyone dismissing it and saying it is one of the worst Bond films ever made that made me not watch it again.

However, the moment finally came when I decided to give it another shot and, to my surprise, I was very glad I did.

Firstly, I did enjoy it. This is partially due to me being a full 8 years older so I understood all of the plot this time round! Secondly, as a now experienced…

CULVER CITY, Calif., September 8, 2015
Albert R. Broccoli's EON Productions, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, and Sony Pictures Entertainment today confirmed that Sam Smith has recorded "Writing's On The Wall," the theme song to SPECTRE, the 24th James Bond adventure. SPECTRE will be released in the UK on October 26 and in the US on November 6. The song, released by Capitol Records, will debut and be available to purchase and stream on September 25.

Multi-platinum selling artist Sam Smith has co-written the title song, "Writing's On The Wall," with fellow GRAMMY® Award winner Jimmy Napes. It is the first James Bond theme song recorded by a British male solo artist since 1965. Smith's debut album In Th…

    Bond & Superman

    September 29, 2014 by Kiwichris

Both James Bond and Superman are iconic characters of the UK and USA respectively, both being seen as representatives of their nations identities. With that in mind I've found it interesting the connections between The Bond film franchise and the Superman films.

In 1978, Goldfinger, Diamonds Are Forever, Live and Let Die & The Man with the Golden Gun director Guy Hamilton was originally slated to direct Superman: The Movie by producers Alexander and Ilya Salkind. However, when production moved to Pinewood Studios (where the Bond movies are filmed) Hamilton was forced to withdraw due to his status as a tax exile, being only allowed to be in England for thirty days, leading to Richard Donner taking over as director.

Screen writer Tom Mankiewicz, who w…

    Bond in Batman?

    August 31, 2013 by Kiwichris

I've heard rumors that former James Bond actor Timothy Dalton is being eyed to play Batman's butler Alfred in the new Batman & Superman team up film. I think that would be really cool, especially as in some of the comics Alfred is mentioned to have worked for the British secret service, so who better than a Bond actor for the part! Despite murmurs of wanting to let Bond go for sake of other projects, it's official: oscar-winning Skyfall director Sam Mendes will back for another round of Bond (shaken, not stirred.) Following an earlier announcement that actor Daniel Craig and screenwriter John Logan will also be returning to work on the untitled Bond 24, Sony and MGM announced today that the director, who's best known for his work on films like American Beauty and Revolutionary Road is set to return, proving that the studio and distributor are quite happy with the way things worked out with Skyfall (and for good reason -- the film was a critical darling and brought in over a billion dollars.)

I enjoyed how Bond, M and Kincade set up the booby traps in the Skyfall Lodge and the action started when Silva's men arrived. This inspired me to come up with my own home security for "unwanted guests" (but I'm going to be screwed for destroying my house). Here's how the defenses will set up:

Front yard - Aston Martin DB5 and Aston Martin V8 Vantage

Backyard - Aston Martin V12 Vanquish

Indoor - sentry guns, mines, exploding light bulbs

Weapons - Walther PPK, AK-47, hand grenades, HK-416

Last resort - Blow up my whole house

Escape - One of the Aston Martins (hopefully the DB5)

    Skyfall Review Roundup

    November 10, 2012 by Porterfield

Skyfall is finally in theaters worldwide, and it has been getting amazing reviews from audiences and critics alike. They love the breathtaking work by director Sam Mendes (who cut his teeth directing plays) and cinematographer Roger Deakins. They love Javier Bardem's creepy, Julian Assange-like villain Raoul Silva. They love the Bond girls, Bérénice Marlohe and Naomie Harris. Most distinctively, however, they love Daniel Craig. Many critics have written that Skyfall has solidified the actor's place as the best to portray the character of James Bond. Astoundingly bold statements, but great news for anyone planning to see the movie this weekend!

For me, the most interesting element of this film's success is the inconsistent Bond sandwich that…

With Skyfall coming out and this being the 50th anniversary of the James Bond films, we have been doing a lot of reflection. I've compiled lists of theme songs through the decades, the 50 best gadgets, and 7 reasons why Skyfall will be stunning. We have also hosted the Ultimate Bond Movie Contest (vote here!), but now it's time to look at some of the best quotes from the Bond films, and choose your favorite!

Please vote in the poll below these choices:

In Goldfinger, the villain of the same name captures Bond, straps him to a table, and turns on a laser that slowly moves towards Bond's you-know-where. This method of interrogation is now legendary and often parodied, but the icing on the cake is Gert Fröbe'sdeliveryofthisfamousline.

    007 Legends VS

    October 23, 2012 by TheBlueRogue

007 Legends is the latest James Bond videogame to hit store shelves. The secret agent has been a part of many games since the inception of the media conglomerate. We have seen James Bond video games follow particular movies (Goldeneye, The World is Not Enough, etc) along with games creating their own unique plot (Everything or Nothing). 007 Legends is a culmination of all things bond, expanding into several different movies.

Let's compare 007 Legends to Goldeneye: Reloaded, be sure to vote on which game you feel has the better features.

007 Legends is a first-person shooter video game featuring the British secret agent James Bond. The character has been around for 50 years, spanning across book, movie, and game media. Daniel Craig lends his likeness to the character in Legends, and the game follows the exploits of the MI6 agent through various events in the conglomorate's timeline.

In fact all of it just feels off. While there are some moments that are faithful to the source material – such as the cutscene in which Bond is strapped to a slab of gold and sweating on Goldfinger’s crotch-searing laser – for the most part 007 Legends is barely recognizable as a Bond experience, much less a tribute to the series’ proud history.

    Adele Song Out

    October 5, 2012 by Gcheung28

Hey James Bond fans, Porterfield might want to wait on hearing Adele's theme for Skyfall, but I'm not as patient! Good news is the song was finally released!!

Apparently, the single was officially scheduled for a premiere at 7:07 p.m. ET -- or 0:07 a.m. in the U.K. -- but a French radio station has jumped the gun, so to speak, and posted "Skyfall" earlier today.

A lot of people think Adele's sultry voice and the lyrics of the song offer a classic Bond vibe, but check it out for yourself and share your thoughts below:

    Best 50 Bond Gadgets

    October 5, 2012 by Porterfield

2012 marks the 50th Anniversary of the James Bond films, and if you weren't satisfied by the collector's edition Bond 50 Blu-ray box set, my compilation of every Bond theme song through the decades, or the fact that the newest Bond film, Skyfall, comes out in a month, then check out this list of the 50 greatest gadgets from the Bond films, sorted by 5 categories of 10.

Dr. No Luminous watch - Bond has a watch with a luminous, slightly radioactive face that glows in the dark. This is a holdover from Fleming's novels, in which Bond is described as having a similar watch.

October 5th is Global James Bond Day, and although some people think about explosions, tuxedos, gambling, evil villains, or martinis, one of the first things that comes to my mind is the music. Everyone is excited for the upcoming Skyfall theme, sung by Adele, so let's honor the franchise by taking a look back at the tunes.

Every James Bond film has a theme song that plays during a carefully crafted opening title sequence. We could rank them, but that would take too long. We could choose the best, but that would be too easy. Most of the themes are sung by music legends, from Paul McCartney to Madonna, but Shirley Bassey is the undisputed champion of the Bond theme, having recorded the most at three. Two of Bassey's themes are the most famous…

    James Bond plus Adele

    September 13, 2012 by Gcheung28

Hey, James Bond fans, there isn't much longer until we are gifted with the new Skyfall movie, but listen to this: the amazing singer Adele might be recording the Skyfall theme!

    Check out our source here:

Reports show that Adele was seen at Abbey Road Studios earlier this month, where composer Thomas Newman spent time working on the score for Skyfall! Adele also previously hinted that she was involved in music for the film when the singer told British talk show host Jonathan Ross last fall that she was planning to record one song before the end of 2011 and that it would be “a theme.” She added, “Wow, that’s really giving something away.”

So it's not like we weren't 99.9% sure that Adele was doing the theme song for this movie, but it ha…
