Canada is a very large country in North America that neighbours the United States. It was once a former British Colony, before achieving independence on July 1st, 1867.
Canada's own spy agency is known as the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, or CSIS and was a formal branch of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). Bond does not visit Canada in the films, but The Spy Who Loved Me was partly shot at Auyuittuq National Park. Bond sneaks into the United States via Canada in the For Your Eyes Only book, but not the film.
Canada was also mentioned in the movie Quantum of Solace, where Bond informed a known Canadian Intelligence Officer that there is a leak and to contact CSIS about the leak.
Canada is also the birthplace of Vivienne Michel
