Dr. Christmas Jones is a fictional character from the James Bond movie The World is Not Enough.

Relatively little is known about Dr. Jones; she is a nuclear physicist working in Russia to dismantle nuclear warheads so as to reduce the Russian inventory in line with treaty obligations. Being a young and highly attractive woman with a penchant for wearing provocative clothing she attracts much "gawking" from men, something she apparently dislikes. As a result she tends to be rather defensive and even aggressive towards the men she meets. She particularly dislikes jokes being made about her forename.

On their initial encounter Jones distrusted Bond, who was working undercover to investigate Renard's presence at a Russian missile facility. Some fans speculate that the American Jones may have attended a British University, giving her a knowledge of British culture and allowing her to realise that Bond was lying to her, but this is not supported by the film. Indeed we learn virtually nothing of Jones's past, family, friends, or interests. When she realized that Bond was not who he claimed to be she alerted both the authorities and Renard; as a result Renard was able to escape with a nuclear warhead.

Jones came to realize that Bond was one of the "good guys", and assisted him in his mission to stop Renard. In classic Bond-movie fashion she became highly attracted to him, and they consummated their relationship after the end of the mission. The experience prompted Bond to comment with the memorable line that until then, he "thought Christmas only comes once a year."

The role of Christmas Jones was played by Denise Richards.
