Claudine Auger is a French actress best known for her role as Bond girl Dominique "Domino" Derval in the 1965 Bond film Thunderball. She also earned the title of Miss France Monde and was the first runner-up in the 1958 Miss World contest.
- Auger was discovered for the role while on holiday in the Bahamas, where writer-producer Kevin McClory was also on holiday. Although the role of Domino was originally to be an Italian woman (Dominetta Petacchi), McClory recommended that Auger audition and the producers were so impressed that they re-wrote the part to that of a French woman to better suit her.
- Although she took lessons to perfect her English, Auger's voice in Thunderball was eventually dubbed by Nikki van der Zyl, the same actress who dubbed the voice of Ursula Andress' Honey Ryder in Dr. No.
- In 1971, Auger starred with two other Bond girls, Barbara Bach and Barbara Bouchet, in the film Black Belly of the Tarantula, a giallo mystery.
