Film biography

This very cute young French woman first appears when Bond arrives in Los Angeles to investigate Hugo Drax. Corinne Dufour is his helicopter pilot who collects Bond from Los Angeles International airport and gives him a general description of the Drax Corporation. She then escorts Bond to meet Holly Goodhead.

While staying at Drax's estate, Bond visits Dufour in her bedroom to elicit information. She hesitantly tells Bond what little she knows and they have sex. While she sleeps, Bond goes across the hall to investigate Drax's study. Dufour wakes and follows him there, telling him to get out of the office. She inadvertently reveals where the safe is located and stands by as Bond photographs the documents it contained. Unfortunately for her, she is seen by Chang as she leaves the study.

After Bond leaves the estate the following morning, Dufour is summoned by Drax while he is out hunting. Drax informs Dufour that her employment has been terminated due to her involvement in Bond's safe breaking the previous night. As Dufour walks away, Drax sets his trained hunting dogs onto her. Bond apparently remains unaware of her demise.

Although she works for Drax, Dufour is unaware of his plan to destroy humanity. She never intends to betray her boss, but an accidental glance reveals the location of Drax's safe and leads her to her fate.
