This is a List of Recurring Actors as different characters. It does not include the likes of Lois Maxwell who appeared in multiple Bond films as a recurring character, but can include stuntmen etc in supporting roles if they are visible enough. It can also include people who appeared in both Eon and non-Eon films.

It is often stated in articles that very few actors have appeared in multiple Bond films; this may be true of major roles, but it certainly isn't true of some of the smaller ones, with dozens of actors having appeared in background or supporting roles. In the days before VCRs became popular, and a proliferation of TV channels started showing Bond films on heavy rotation, this practice was far more common, and much less noticed by the public. In some cases, the actors in question have a very different appearance in each of their roles.

OK Connery[]

OKConneryMaxwellLee

Miss Maxwell, Commander Cunningham and Connery in OK Connery

This film is best classified as "Bondsploitation" and was made by an Italian studio. Unlike the three non-Eon films which were licenced and based on Ian Fleming works, O.K. Connery can be classed as an attempt at a truly unofficial Bond fim.

Its "overlapping" actors can be neatly divided into two groups:

  • Those who are unofficially reprising their Bond roles such as Bernard Lee ("Commander Cunningham") and Lois Maxwell ("Miss Maxwell"). These tend to be as well hinted at as the film can get away with.
  • Those who are playing different roles, but also appeared in Bond films, these would include Daniela Bianchi, Adolfo Celi, Anthony Dawson and others.
