The Walther PPK/S (Polizeipistole Kriminalmodell / Sport) is a German pistol issued to James Bond by Q in Skyfall. The PPK/S is a variant of Bond's traditional Walther PPK designed for export to the United States. It mates the Walther PP's longer grip with the PPK's short slide and is chambered in .380 ACP (9mm Short) rather than .32 ACP (7.65mm Short).

Skyfall (film)[]
Bond was issued one fitted with a grip featuring a microdermal sensor that reads the user's palm prints, allowing the pistol to only be used by a specific individual. Should the pistol recognize the user's prints as those of the individual, 3 lights just below the gun's hammer will illuminate green and the weapon will be able to be fired. However, should it not recognize the user's prints, the lights will illuminate red and the pistol will not fire, even if the trigger is pulled.
The PPK/S was given to Bond at the National Gallery in London. Q handed him the PPK/S in a small foam-filled case with lock. As Bond opened the case and inspected his weapon, Q gave him an overview of it. When Bond pointed out the small cutout in the foam next to the one for his Walther, Q also handed him his radio transmitter. Later, in Shanghai, Bond followed Patrice to a skyscraper, where he removed his glove to activate his PPK/S and then followed Patrice into the building, although he ended up not firing his pistol. When he went to the casino in Macau, he again did not fire the pistol. However, one of Raoul Silva's henchman took the pistol from Bond and tried to shoot him with it, finding that the gun would not fire (despite him pulling its trigger). The henchman was then dragged by a Kommodo dragon, apparently still holding onto the pistol, which Bond did not attempt to retrieve.

- Bond never fires the PPK/S. In fact, no one ever fires the gun, since Bond is the only capable of doing so.
- The prop PPK/S was 3D-printed by UK-based company Propshop.
