Mil Mi-24 (Russian: Миль Ми-24; NATO reporting name: Hind) is a large helicopter gunship, attack helicopter and low-capacity troop transport with room for eight passengers.[1] It is produced by Mil Moscow Helicopter Plant and has been operated since 1972 by the Soviet Air Force and its successors, along with more than 30 other nations.

Trivia[]
- A Mi-24 was modeled for the GoldenEye 007 (1997 game) and can be found in the game's data, but it is unused in the main game itself. It is believed to be meant as the helicopter that would drop Xenia to Bond's proximity at the bridge in the level "Jungle". In the movie, the helicopter Xenia rappels from was a Eurocopter AS355.
