Palazzo Cadenza

The exterior of the Palazzo Cardenza, as it appeared in Spectre (2015).

The Palazzo Cardenza was a fictional SPECTRE-aligned location in Rome, Italy. With its ornate baroque style architecture, the Palazzo served as a lavish meeting place for the leadership of the highly secretive organization. It appeared prominently in the 2015 James Bond film, Spectre.

History[]

After James Bond seduces Lucia Sciarra he learns that there is going to be a rare meeting of the SPECTRE leadership at Palazzo Cardenza. Bond is able to infiltrate the meeting by using Marco Sciarra's ring to convince the security guards that he is a member of the organization. Initially, Bond makes his way to the marble-walled boardroom and overhears members of the organization discuss criminal enterprises that are currently underway. There is a brief pause in the meeting when the organization’s mysterious leader Ernst Stavro Blofeld enters the room. The board moved on to look for a candidate to complete Sciarra's mission. At first, Guerra volunteers for the assignment but Mr. Hinx violently kills him in order to take the position for himself. Blofeld then revealed that is aware of Bond's present on the balcony which causes the spy to flee from the Palazzo Cardenza.
