Ingrid is a nurse who appears in the James Bond novel Icebreaker.
Biography
Following being shot by Count von Glöda at an airport, an injured James Bond is awoken by a nurse whom he mistakes for an angel. There, M tells Bond he had been struck by two bullets in the chest, and granted a month's leave only be to chiden by the nurse to not tire him. The nurse returns with a large jug of barley water, and tells the visitors they had only a few minutes with Bond. Bond asks the nurse for a Martini only to give him a smile. After M and Brad Tirpitz leave, Bond asks the nurse for a dinner date with him (only after he recovers), and learns her name is Ingrid.
