John Cleese played Q after the death of Desmond Llewelyn in 1999. In The World Is Not Enough, he played Q's assissiant R, and then officially became Q in Die Another Day. In the current script of Casino Royale, Q is not present. This makes it uncertain if John Cleese will play Q in Bond 22. John Cleese also played Q in the video game Everything or Nothing.
