Mamba 12G (GoldenEye - Rogue Agent)

The Mamba 12G shotgun, as seen in the 2004 video game GoldenEye: Rogue Agent.

The Mamba 12G is a fictional 12 Gauge twin-barreled shotgun which appears in Electronic Arts' 2004 James Bond spin-off video game GoldenEye: Rogue Agent. With a short-range and wide coverage, it excels at assault operations. Although its powerful blast inflicts a high level of damage and can knock opponents off their feet, its accuracy leaves something to be desired.[1] The weapon has a clip size of 8 rounds and the player can carry up to a maximum of 24 rounds in addition to the active clip (32 in multiplayer).[2]

  • Unusually for a double-barreled gun, it acts more like a repeater and the chambers are loaded by breaking the action open and closing it, with the shells automatically ejected. The player performs this by flipping it down and back up.
