Moonraker was a radio drama adaptation of Ian Fleming's 1955 novel that was adapted by the Durban Repertory Theatre for the SABC's Springbok Radio.[2][3][4] It is variously reported to have aired in either 1955, 1956, 1957 or 1958 and no extant copies are known to exist.[1] Possibly not authorized by Fleming or his agents[1], it was the first radio adaptation of a 007 novel and starred actor Bob Holness as the titular character for the first and only time.
