Mr. Sanguinetti is an antagonist in the ninth Ian Fleming novel, The Spy Who Loved Me. His assassins fail to kill Vivienne and set the place on fire.
Novel biography[]
Sanguinetti is an Italian-American owner of Dreamy Pines Motor Court in the Adirondack Mountains of New York, United States. He hires the assassins Sluggsy and Horror to have his motel burnt down, and have his employee Vivienne Michel assassinated to claim the property and life insurances. However, his mercenaries manage to neither kill Vivienne nor adequately set the place on fire. He later flees the scene, but was arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol.
