Quarrel Jr.

"Meet the man who shares my hairbrush."

Quarrel Junior is a Caribbean fisherman and son of the Cayman islander, Quarrel, who appears in Dr. No. He is an ally to Bond in the film Live and Let Die and is portrayed by Roy Stewart.

Biography[]

When James Bond and Rosie Carver need a boat to get closer to the film's primary villain, Dr. Kananga, Bond hires Quarrel Junior. While aboard the his boat, Rosie finds a secret compartment with radio transmitters and weapons and jumps to the conclusion that Quarrel is a villain. When she spots him coming up from behind Bond with a rope, she holds the fisherman at gunpoint. Bond however clears up the situation; revealing that the two are acquainted.

Following this, Quarrel helps Bond get to the island of San Monique on several occasions.

At the end of the film, Quarrel is the one who plants incendiary explosives in Kananga's poppy fields and meets back with Felix Leiter.
