Yes, some things are very unlogical. I wonder what they will do with Blofeld in the next Bond movie.
I like all the proper Bond films. Hard to pick a favorite. The worst one is hands down Casino Royale from 1967 (not to be confused with the excellent Casino Royale from 2006).
Like most: Die Another Day, without a doubt. Favorite Bond, favorite villain, and some epic and spectacular scenes, though it started kinda slow
Dislike most: Going by original series only, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. It just didn't feel like a Bond film, and not just coz George Lazenby was Bond. That snowstorm scene looked like an absolute nightmare too
Counting the reboot: Quantum of Solace. I got so bored I couldn't even finish it, even though I saw all of Casino Royale, Skyfall, and Spectre. (I like the original series way better)
Regarding A View to a Kill: I kinda see how you'd think that. It should be better because of Christopher Walken and a cool theme song, but parts of it were too boring, except for the big fight at the Golden Gate Bridge.
I know Moonraker has a reputation for being too goofy ("There was a shot of like pigeons doing double takes when the gondola blasted by! Moonraker was inexcusable!"), but it was probably my favorite film with Roger Moore, and Thunderball for Sean Connery. Probably Licence to Kill for Timothy Dalton. Pierce Brosnan... well, it should be obvious from my above post
Moonraker because I have a crush on Dr. Goodhead, Jaws returns and Bond goes to space and Derek Meddings created the explosions and miniature models.
the 1967 Casino Royale was a load of utter s**t.
Worst: The World is not Enough. No doubt about this. It's just nonsense, even more than kite surfing on a tsunami...But the space battle of Moonraker almost made it the worst.
Best: Dr. No, Goldfinger and Casino Royale, all for different reasons.
When you said "The World is not Enough" I thought for a second you said Tomorrow Never Dies, which is my second favorite. But if you had chosen it, nothing wrong with that, to each his own.
Also does the old Casino Royale even count? Well, we are counting two separate continuities already (if nothing else proven by the portrayal of the new Blofeld) so why not?
@Ian678 Domino might have had an influence on Thunderball being my favorite Connery movie. That, and it has more awesome scenes. But, the other ones weren't bad either.
