007 Legends is a first-person shooter video game featuring the British secret agent James Bond. The character has been around for 50 years, spanning across book, movie, and game media. Online matches have capacity for up to 12 players in a match. Character skins and environments for the single player will be available for players in matches. Gameplay modes for multiplayer include Bomb Diffuse, Escalation, and Data Miner.
As a way to enhance replayability, 007 Legends includes a Challenges mode. Similar to the MI6 Ops Missions in Goldeneye 007: Reloaded, these challenges are extra objectives that can be completed within missions. Challenges are based in assault, elimination, stealth, and defence-based objectives. These challenges can also be have their difficulty adjusted. A new feature to the challenge mode is the ability to play special missions as some of Bond’s villains of companions. Scores can be uploaded onto online leaderboards for bragging rights.
